those who know me best know my incapacity to separate myself from any memory-emmersed object. but today i have turned over a new leaf, i let the rock-star in me pass away as i sold the mother-daddy ( that’s right, mother-daddy ) of all guitar amps, my red JCM 900 100Watt. it was hard to see her go, but i know my dad will appreciate the extra space in his garage ;)

after much planning and negotiating, the winter family was finally able to come out to see our house. ( for those of you who don’t know the winters, they are aunt, uncle, and cousins from my mother’s side of the family. ) pheonix and ethan were the two strapping young men whom you might recognize from our cake cutting! ;)
in any case, they came to see the house and we shared an unbelievable day of ice cream + cat-catching! in the words of the beautiful and talented cassidy “we didn’t have fun, we had infinity times fun, fun!”

after much planning, deliberation, rescheduling, and renegotiation, we finally made it to disneyland with john + channing. a trip with the four of us was long overdue.
the four of us have a bit of a history at disneyland in that the four of us took off during a group trip to disneyland ( summer 05 ) before they were dating. we had so much fun as a forsome that we did everything we could to “encourage” them in their feelings for each other. of course, time would tell that the relationship required very little “encouragement” from us ;)
